Terms & Conditions
By submitting payment, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Project Process
All projects follow three phases:
Pre-Production: Planning may take place through Google Meet, FaceTime, email, Notion, or an in-person meeting. The Client and Prodigal Studios will discuss concepts, references, goals, deliverables, logistics, and social media KPIs when applicable.
The Client may request concept changes before approval. Once approved through Notion or email, the concept is considered final and Prodigal Studios will begin production preparation. Changes requested after approval may require a schedule adjustment or may not be accepted.
Production: The filming date, time, and location will be determined by mutual written agreement and are subject to availability.
Post-Production: Prodigal Studios will edit, review, revise, and deliver the content according to the purchased service.
Payment
The total service fee is the amount shown in the Client’s cart or invoice. Full payment is required to confirm the booking and begin services. Dates are not reserved until payment is received.
Travel, parking, permits, rentals, additional locations, rush services, and other approved expenses not included in the original order may be charged separately.
Revisions
Unless otherwise stated, one revision round per deliverable is included. A revision round means one consolidated list of feedback submitted at one time.
Minor revisions may include copy, grammar, sequence order, font, text placement, color, or song changes. Requests that change the approved concept, scope, script, duration, format, or creative direction are not included.
No additional revision rounds will be provided unless Prodigal Studios agrees otherwise in writing.
Technical errors caused by Prodigal Studios will be corrected at no additional charge and will not count as a revision.
Review Period
The Client must review each preview and provide consolidated feedback within 24 hours of delivery. For example, a preview delivered Wednesday at 9:00 AM must receive feedback by Thursday at 9:00 AM.
If feedback is not received within 24 hours, the deliverable may be considered approved and the project will proceed to final delivery. Feedback received after the review period may not be accepted. Extensions must be requested and approved in writing before the review deadline.
Client Responsibilities
The Client must provide accurate information, required assets, approvals, access, permissions, and feedback on time. The Client is responsible for ensuring that submitted materials do not violate another party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or legal rights.
Client-caused delays may result in changes to the production or delivery schedule.
Cancellation
Because full payment is required at booking:
Cancellations made more than seven days before production may qualify for a partial refund, less completed work, administrative fees, expenses incurred, and non-refundable third-party costs.
Cancellations within seven days of production may be charged up to 100% of the project fee.
Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged in full.
Completed services and incurred expenses are non-refundable.
Cancellation requests must be sent to contact@prodigalgallerystudios.com and are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may require additional fees, especially when crew, equipment, studios, locations, or vendors have already been reserved.
A location change with comparable travel distance and production time is generally free. Additional travel, parking, permits, rentals, or production requirements may be charged separately.
An additional filming session of up to four hours is $250 unless another price is shown in the service description or invoice.
When applicable, unfinished content may be moved to the next production slot. The original slot may be considered used and forfeited if the change results from a late Client request, cancellation, or no-show.
Force Majeure
Production will be rescheduled without penalty when an event beyond either party’s reasonable control makes production unsafe, impractical, or impossible.
These events may include severe weather, natural disasters, unsafe travel conditions, government restrictions, utility outages, public health emergencies, sudden illness, accidents, injuries, civil unrest, labor strikes, unavoidable equipment failure, or location-access issues.
Both parties will make a good-faith effort to select a new date, subject to Prodigal Studios’ availability. Payments will be credited toward the rescheduled production. No refund will be issued solely because of a Force Majeure Event, except where required by law.
Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing service arrangement with 30 days’ written notice. One-time projects are governed by the Cancellation Policy.
The Client remains responsible for completed work, reserved production time, incurred expenses, and non-refundable costs. Undelivered work remains the property of Prodigal Studios.
Ownership & Usage
Prodigal Studios retains copyright ownership of all original content unless ownership is transferred through a separate written agreement.
After full payment, the Client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the final delivered content for its agreed purposes. The Client may not sell, sublicense, transfer, or claim authorship of the content without written permission.
Raw footage, project files, editable files, unused images, and unedited materials are not included unless explicitly purchased.
Third-party music, fonts, stock footage, templates, and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective license terms.
Unless otherwise agreed before production, Prodigal Studios may use final public-facing work for its portfolio, website, social media, awards, and promotional materials.
Delivery & File Storage
The Client is responsible for downloading and backing up all delivered files. Prodigal Studios does not guarantee permanent storage after delivery. File recovery, re-exporting, or archive retrieval may be subject to availability and additional fees.
Communication
Official project communication will be conducted through Notion and email.
Working Hours:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Messages received outside working hours may receive a delayed response. Project timelines are calculated using business days unless otherwise stated.
Acceptance
By submitting payment for the associated cart, order, or invoice, the Client accepts these Terms & Conditions. Payment constitutes full acceptance of this Agreement and creates a legally binding agreement between the Client and Prodigal Studios.

HOW IT WORKS
Book and pay online to receive your confirmation email and Notion project page. We’ll finalize and lock your concept, production details, and session date before the shoot.
After the session, you’ll receive a preview. Every service includes one complimentary revision round, with one additional revision round available for $100.
DMV SERVICE AREA & TRAVEL
Services are available throughout the DMV area. Travel is complimentary for locations within 20 miles of Rio Shopping Center, Gaithersburg, MD. Locations beyond the complimentary 20-mile service area will be charged $0.50 per additional mile. Parking, tolls, permits, studio rentals, admission fees, and other location-related expenses are not included unless specifically stated.
